I’m an author of fiction, a freelance nonfiction writer, and an archaeologist. In addition, I’m marketing director of Per Bastet Publications, a small press based in the Louisville, Kentucky and Southern Indiana area.

My nonfiction includes archaeological reports and journal articles, four articles about Russian art and museum studies at the Art in Russia website, and over two hundred articles on historic sites and museums across America at the Clio online.

My fiction is of multiple genres and lengths – basically, I’ll write any kind of story that occurs to me and intrigues me.  Mostly, I write mainstream or fantasy, although I’ve delved into horror stories and science fiction from time to time, too.  I’ve got everything from flash fiction (500 words or fewer) to novel-length work.  My first published novel, The Life and Death (But Mostly the Death) of Erica Flynn, is available through Amazon.com in paperback or Kindle format.  A sequel is in the works.

What I read varies a lot – I love a great deal of classic literature, a fair bit of science fiction and fantasy, and historical fiction mysteries.  I also love cross-genre work, both for reading and for writing.
